I want you and your animals to be as comfortable as possible. Here are a few tips to help make your session a success:
Make sure to groom or bathe your animals beforehand so that they look their best.
For young or hyper dogs, a short walk can help calm them. Make sure you dog has had a chance to go potty beforehand and bring cleanup bags if your session is not at your home. If your dog has a favorite toy or treats, definitely bring them to the session, but keep them hidden from your dog until they're needed for the session.
In most situations, it's actually safer for your dog to be on-leash. If you have a longer lead, that would be terrific. I can remove leashes when editing the photos. Please note that harnesses and collars will likely remain in photos, so make sure your dog is "wearing" what you want.
While nice, it's not necessary to have a perfectly trained dog. I am very patient and will take the time needed to capture your dog's personality. If your dog is shy or scared, we'll make sure s/he is as comfortable as possible.
Sure, but keep in mind that I am pet photographer first and foremost and more skilled directing animals than people:-) However, I will do my best to capture the special bond between you and your animal.
If it appears that the weather will be too bad during your session, we'll reschedule to a mutually agreeable time.
Your retainer fee is non-refundable, but the date can be transferred if you contact me to reschedule 72 hours or more before your scheduled session. This fee is to reserve your spot and helps cover the loss of revenue from missed bookings. I know that sometimes events happen that are out of our control and will do my best to find a suitable alternative should the need arise.
Yes, I offer packages or you can purchase them individually. I provide a print release, but please keep in mind that I do not guarantee the results from outside printers. I use a monitor that is calibrated to the print specs provided by my professional lab. Non-professional labs will often auto-correct colors or the colors will not print true.
Yes, I offer heirloom wall art from my professional printer. I offer photo prints, metal prints, canvas gallery wraps and other products in a wide range of sizes.
